The Puollen, or ’The Puddles’ mill is an historic water mill located on Puoldyk in the town of Dronrijp. The mill was built in 1850 to serve the former 365 hectare Oosterpolder. The mill was restored in 1985, and is now owned by the Menaldumadeel Mills Foundation. The current miller is Mr J. vd Meulen, and the mill can regularly be seen in operation. The Puollen Mill is open to the public.
