The Lion is a small corn mill in a hamlet called Old Mill, situated just outside of the town of Bathmen. The name ’Old Mill’ refers to a mill in the hamlet that has been serving the town since 1552. The Lion is a more modern mill, and was built in 1856. The mill is affiliated with the Craft Guild of Corn Millers, and supplies flour to millers in the local area. The mill is open to the public, with tours available each weekend.
