The Lion Mill, or ’Leonide’ is a modern ’stellingmolen’ located on Kneeskade in the town of Anna Paylowna. The mill was built in 2002, using parts from several different old mills, including the Seagull polder mill, which was originally built in uithuizen in 1892, and the Westernijkerk polder mill, which once stood in Franeker. The Lion Mill is now used as a residence. The mill is open to the public, although an appointment is usually required.
