Map

The Kempermolen is a working corn mill in the town of Breedenbroek. The mill was built in 1882, by Johan Kemper. In 1890 a steam engine was build in a separate building next to the windmill. This engine was replaced in 1901 by a diesel engine. The mill was closed down in 1959 because of its deteriorating condition. Restoration work began in 2002, and the mill is now working again. The mill is open to the public, and tours are available on request.
