The Hope and Expectation Mill in Borssele is a working corn mill that was built in the early 18th century. It is believed that the mill was an old polder mill that was moved to Borssele in 1714. The mill has had several owners, with the most recent being Mr. C. Weele. The mill was sold to the town of Borsselle in 1984 in a relatively poor condition, the town restored the mill, and now maintain it. Tours of the mill are available upon request.
