The Hatsumermolen is an historic polder mill located on Keimptilsterdyk in the town of Dronrijp. The mill was built in 1878 to manage the 60 hectare ’Skima’ polder around the Hommema State farm. The Hatsumermolen is now owned and maintained by the Menaldumadeel Mill Foundation. The current miller is Mr. A. Kalsbeek. The mill was restored to working order in 1989, and is now open to the public. Tours of the mill are available by appointment only.
