The Graanhalm Mill is an historic corn mill located just to the southwest of the Burgh-Haamstede town center. The foundations of it’s predecessor, a small wooden post mill, can be seen in the garden of the mill. The Graanhalm was built in 1847 for Adriaan Gast, although he died before the mill could be completed. The mill has had several owners. The current owner, the Landegent family, bought the mill in 1974. The Graanhalm Mill is open to the public during the Summer only.
