The Fishery Museum, or “Visserijmuseum” in Bruinisse is a museum devoted to the history of the fishing industry. The museum contains a number of historic items related to fishing, and visitors can learn about the evolution of the Dutch fishing industry, and the impact that it had on the small fishing towns. Visitors can learn how these small towns became wealthy, important parts of the country thanks to their location, and the trade that they supplied.
