The Broekmolen is a historic polder mill located on Schwarzenbergerlaan in the town of Broeksterwoude. The mill was built in 1876 by Wietse Jurjen and Co. to serve the former Broekspolder. The mill was decommissioned in the 1960s, and was restored in 1975, then bought by the Fryske Mill Foundation in 1977. The Broekmolen is now ran on a voluntary basis, and is open to the public. Tours of the mill are available upon request.
