The D’Admiral is an historic corn mill located on the North Holland Canal Dijk in the city of Amsterdam. The mill was built in 1792, and was in use as a commercial corn mill until the early 1950s. In 1960, the Krijtmolen D’Admiral Foundation was founded, and in 1967, the mill was restored and re-opened by the Mayor of Amsterdam. The D’Admiral mill is open to the public, and the current opening times are listed on the mill web site.
