The Tadema’s Mill is an historic polder mill located on Oude Rijksweg in the town of Bolsward. The mill was built in 1824, and was originally called the Lonje Mill. The mill served the Marnepolder until 1933. The mill was restored by the Hiemstra mill-makers company, and officially re-opened on September 18th 2002, by Mayor Koopmans of Bolsward. The Tadema’s Mill is open to the public. There are no fixed opening hours, but tours can be arranged upon request.
