The Stammermolen is an historic polder mill located on the Stammerdijk in the town of Diemen. The Stammermolen is an eight-sided ’land sailor’ mill. It was built in 1873, and was used to drain a 750 hectare area of land. In 1926 the mill was connected to a network of polder mills, which it continued to serve for many years. In 2003, the Stammermolen underwent extensive restoration work. The mill is still in use today.
