The Stadhuis in Den Bosch (also known as ’s Hertogenbosch, which means ’The Duke’s Forest’) is a late 16th century building located on the old, traditionally cobbled market square. It was constructed in the classic Dutch style, and its most interesting feature is the carillon which chimes the half hour to the accompaniment of some mechanical horsemen. The carillon is also played every Wednesday morning.
