Stadhuis
Markt, Arnhem - Netherlands

Map
The Stadhuis in Arnhem is a quaint sixteenth century building located next to the St Eusebius church, just off the Market in the town centre. It is a relatively small building for a town hall. The building is also known as the ’Duivelshuis’, or, Devils House, after the three figures of devils situated at the entrance. The Town Hall was built for Maarten van Rossem, Duke Charle’s general, in 1540. The Stadhuis is in relatively good condition, and survived Operation Market Garden intact.
