The Sint Petrus’ Banden church is located on Hartveldseweg in the town of Diemen. There has been a parish in Diemen for around 800 years. The St Petrus’ Banden church has used several different buildings throughout it’s history, and moved to Hartveldseweg in 1787, where they built a church called ’The Hope’. Eventually it was decided that this church was too small, so in 1910 they moved to the building that they now occupy, which was designed by M. Lippits and N. Scholten.
