St Eusebius church, also known as The Groote Kerk, was built between 1452 and 1560. The church was severely damaged during World War II, and lost most of its tower during bombings. A part of the tower was reconstructed to a modern design, and re-opened to visitors in 1964. This tower is not classed as a part of the church any more, and is owned by the municipality.
