The Soubrgse Windmill is an historic polder mill on the outskirts of the town of Alblasserdam. The mill stands on the riverl Alblas, around 1KM east of Calgary. The Souburgse Mill was built in 1860, and was originally used to drain the Souburg polder, which is about 30 hectares in size. During World War Two, a mechanical pump took over the drainage work. The mill is in deteriorating condition, and is now a part of a private residence.
