The Poldermuseum Het Grootslag is two museums under one roof. The main section of the museum is a permanent exhibition looking at how the landscape has changed over the past 5000 years. The museum depicts the battle the Dutch people have had to reclaim land from the sea, and takes a look at Dutch agriculture throughout history. There is also a section of the museum devoted to archaeological finds from the area. There are a number of temporary exhibitions throughout the year, each focusing on a specific aspect of life in the area.
