The Pendrecht Mill was originally built in 1731 in Rotterdam. The mill served the New Pendrecht polder until 1958. The Pendrecht Mill was moved to the town of Barendrecht in 1994, as part of a major conservation project. The Pendrecht Mill is now used as part of a circuit drainage system consisting of several historic mills. The mill is open to the public three days a week during the Summer and Autumn.
