The Omniversum is a large globe-shaped building which plays host to a digital planetarium, and a number of multimedia theatres. The name comes is an amalgamation of the words "Omnimax" and "Universum" (the Dutch word for "Universe"). Each theatre shows themed programming which examines a specific subject. The subjects vary, and the Omniversum covers everything from foreign cultures, to animals, and even space travel. As an example, current shows include ’The Deep Sea’, and ’The Mystery of The Nile’.
