The Old Doornse Mill was built in 1700, and a small living space was added to the mill in 1788. The mill was used to serve the Old Doorn Polder until 1965, when an oil powered pump took over husbandry of the polder. Today, the mill is owned by the Heusden and Altena Mill Society. The Old Doornse mill can regularly be seen in operation, and tours of the mill are available by appointment only.
