The Noordhollands Duinreservaat (or, North Holland Dune Reserve) is a long stretch of sand dunes which stretches out from Bergen aan Zee up to the north Sea Canal. The Dune Reserve is a nature reserve owned by the provincial water company, and a large proportion of drinking water for the Northern areas of Holland still comes from the area. The reserve features some great scenery, and a wide variety of birds, butterflies, and other wild life.
