The Nieuwe Kerk in Delft is only new when compared to the Oude Kerk. The church actually dates back to 1381, although much of the original structure was destroyed in a fire in 1536. The church has been carefully restored over the centuries, and now has a 100 metre tall spire, which offers a wonderful view over the town. There are also a number of Art Deco stained glass windows which were designed in the early 1900s.
