The Natuurcentrum (or Nature Centre) on the island of Ameland is a natural history museum and aquarium. The centre offers a variety of exhibits and activities, both indoor and outdoor, for all ages, including younger children. One of the more unusual attractions is a life-size replica of a whale located outside the museum.
