The Musem Kranenburgh, located just off the village square in Bergen, is a Neo-Classical villa that hosts a collection of works from the Expressionist Bergen School. The school was founded in 1915, and cites influences including such modern greats as Cezanne. The majority of artists on display are not well known, but the museum as a whole includes some interesting themes. The museum hosts a number of temporary exhibitions which feature work from more ‘influential’ schools such as De Ploeg and De Stijl.
