Museum Het Schip
Spaarndammerplantsoen 140, Amsterdam - Netherlands

Map
The Museum Het Schip is part of the municipal housing block designed by Michael De Klerk. Located in Spaarndammersplantsoen, the block takes its name from its ship-like shape. The buildings are unusual, with wavy facades and mis-shapen windows. The museum explores the history of the architectural movement, and explains the most interesting features of the buildings. Guided tours are available, and offer the chance to see inside one of the restored residences. Parts of the complex are still in use as social housing today.
