The Reddingsmuseum Abraham Fock is a museum devoted to the lifeboat and the brave people in the rescue teams that have served the island of Ameland for over 160 years, The museum also looks at the horses that used to drag the boats to sea, until only relatively recently when a new form of lifeboat was launched. The museum gives visitors a chance to see these horses, and also gives an overview of the history of the lifeboat.
