The Mondriaan-huis is a museum devoted to the works of Piet Mondrian, the artist who was born in Amersfoort in 1872. Mondrian was one of the leading artists of the De Stijl style, and the museum is jointly located in the house where he spent much of his childhood, and the school where his father was the head teacher. The exhibitions at the museum are rotated regularly, but there are always some great examples of his geometric paintings on display.
