The Mill F was built in the late 19th century, to manage a 135 hectare section of the Zijpe and Hazepolder. The mill is located on a large open pasture on the southern side of the village of Burgerbrug. The Zijpe and Hazepolder relied exclusively on wind power for its drainage until 1957, when a diesel pump took over job. In 1967, the mill was bought by the Zijper Mills Foundation, and restored to working order. Tours of the mill are available by appointment only.
