The Mennonite Church is located on Zijdstraat, in central Aalsmeer. The Mennonite denomination is over 450 years old, dating back to the reformation of the 16th century. There are Mennonite communities all over the world, but each community has slightly different beliefs. Many believe that baptism and joining the faith is something only an adult can do, and will not baptise those under 18. The Mennonite Church in Aalsmeer is a non-listed monument. There are services, meetings, and choirs held each week.
