Map
The Meermano Museum is housed in a 19th century townhouse with an ornately designed formal garden. The museum contains the collection of Baron W. van Westrenen and his second cousin Johan Meerman, who had lived in the house during the 19th century. The collection includes rare medieval manuscripts, and early samples of printed books, along with a selection of artifacts from ancient Egypt, Rome, and Greece. The small garden home also holds some displays on the subject of typography and the printing process.
