The Maallust Wind Mill is a non working corn mill in the town of Amerongen. There has been a mill in that location since the 15th century, but the mill that stands there today was built in 1830. The mill has changed owner several times, and is currently owned by the Utrecht Mill Foundation. The mill had several parts removed in the 1950s, and is currently in a state of disrepair. Restoration work is being done, and there are plans to open a shop and a museum inside the mill. It is expceted that the work will be completed by late 2008.
