The Laakmolen is an historic polder mill locaetd on the Trekweg in the town of Den Haag. The mill was built in 1621, but was re-built to a new design in 1699, and very little of the original structure remains. The Laakmolen served the Noordpolder until 1938. The mill was restored in 1986, and now serves as a water mill for the Laakkwartier. The mill is only ran occasionally, as an electric pumping station has taken over most of its duties. The mill has been recently restored, and is in very good condition.
