The Kortrijkse Mill is a small, non-working polder mill located in the town of Breukelen. The mill was built in 1696, and is of the ’Wipmolen’ variety. The ’Wipmolen’ is the smallest kind of mill, and is used as a drainage mill. The construction of a highway on the Kortrijkse polder in 1951 meant that the mill was threatened with demolition. It was moved to a new location, and is in the process of being restored. The mill is now owned by the Utrecht Mill foundation.
