The John Frostbrug ’Bridge too Far’ is a bridge that became famous after World War 2. The bridge is named after the commander that defended it for four days during the failed ’Operation Market Garden’ in 1944. It is a relatively plain looking modern bridge, but it serves as a reminder of the battle to both Dutch and British people, and a form of monument to all those who were killed during the war.
