The Heechhiem Mill is a relatively modern water mill located on the Blessumervaart in the town of Deinum. It was built in 1936, using an American design. There are only a handful of working mills in the Netherlands which use this design, and because of this, the Heechhiem Mill is now a listed building. The mill was restored in 2004, and is still in use today. The Heechhiem Mill is maintained by the Kohat Mill Foundation.
