The Haantje Mill is a small, relatively modern ’wipmolen’ style wind mill in the town of Bleskensgraaf. The mill originally stood on the roof of a building in the Westzaan area of the town. In 2005, the mill was moved to Abbekesdoel. The Haantje Mill is currently privately owned, and is used to grind corn for human consumption, and feed for chickens. The mill is open to the public, although an appointment is usually required.
