The Dorpskerk church is a protestant church in Castricum. The town has a long history, dating back to Roman times, and the church itself has a Romanesque and Middle Ages history, although the interior is more modern with much of it being from the eighteenth and nineteenth century. The building underwent extensive restoration work in the mid 1950s. The church has regular organ recitals and services, and sometimes serves as a venue for functions and concerts.
