The Doesburgermolen was built in 1507. It is a working corn mill, and is believed to be one of the oldest remaining mills of it’s type in the Netherlands. In 1944 a sample of wood from the mill was tested by the Dutch Centre for Dendrochronology, and they found that the wood from which the standard was was felled betweein 1614 and 1621. The mill is currently owned by the town, and is open to visitors every Saturday.
