The Hoop Windmill is located on Barneveldseweg in the town of Appel. It was built in 1888, and was used as a corn mill. The first owner of the mill was the Baroness of Goltstein. The mill is currently owned by the Krijnen family, and in 2004 it underwent extensive restoration work. Each Saturday, the mill is opened to visitors. It is also possible to make an appointment to view the mill at other times.
