The De Hoep Visitor’s Centre is located near the dunes in Castricum. The area around Castricum includes a beach - perfect for those interested in a little sun-worship or water sports, a woodland area, and the dunes themselves. The visitor’s centre offers tourists information on the nature and wildlife of the dunes, and also includes small exhibits on conservation work, such as the Pure Water scheme that is being promoted in the area.
