The De Haan Mill was built in 1724. It is a small corn mill located on Noordwal in the town of Brouwershaven. During a renovation of the mill in 1967, the foundations of a much older post mill were found. The yellow brick hull of the older mill, and some of the holes for the walkway are clearly visible. The De Haan mill is still in use today, and is now owned by Mr. R. Ottema.
