The De Duycant museum in Castricum is a small museum devoted to ancient history. The museum features a collection of fossils and other archaeological finds from prehistoric times. The museum is open three days a week, all year round, although the opening times are limited. Usually the museum opens for two hours each evening. At the time of writing, the museum has limited access facilities for disabled people.
