De Berk Mill in Barger-Compascuum is an historic corn mill that was originally built in Cloppenburg in 1850. Since then it has been rebuilt several times. The mill was not moved to Barger-Compascuum until the 1870s. Today, the mill is one of the main attractions of the Veenpark nature park. The De Berk Mill is open to the public, and has a small store selling various fresh flour products.
