The Culinary History Museum in Appelscha is a museum devoted to the history of cooking throughout the ages. The museum covers cooking related topics spanning from Roman times with the display ’Dining in the style of Julius Caesar’ to more modern topics such as ’Dinners from grandmother’s kitchen’ and cooking in the Mediterranean. The museum has four professional kitchens where visitors can explore various recipes, and sample dishes produced by professional chefs.
