The Clara Maria Cheese Farm and Clog Factory is a traditional business located in a pastoral region of the polders just southwest of Amsterdam. The historic, 150-year old farm offers visitors an idea of how cottage industries worked in the past. The barn has been converted into a wooden shoe factory, with the main building containing a cheese making room and a gift shop with a number of traditional hand made items. Visitors can tour the production facilities, and sample some of the traditional cheeses.
