The ’Kweekschool Leger des Heils’ was a church of the Salvation Army. The Salvation Army was founded in 1878 by William and Catherine Booth. The Salvation Army did not reach the Netherlands until 1887. The aim of the church was to spread the gospel of Jeusus Christ, and preach in both word and action. The church was used by cadets until 1968, but is no longer open. The building is now a non-listed monument.
