The Museum Bronbeek is located between Arnhem and Velp, in a building which was once the home of ex-soldiers. The building was donated to the soldiers by William III in 1859, but now serves as a museum, holding souvenirs and mementos brought back to the country by soldiers who had served in Surinam and Indonesia during the Dutch occupation of those countries.
