The Aurora Mill was moved to Baexem in 1843 for the Baroness Kevergerd d’Aldegoor. It orignially stood between the villages of Haelen and Horn. The mill was sold to Conrad Bartholomeus Canoy, the owner of Baexem castle, in 1853. Since then, the mill has had a number of private owners. Today, the mill is ran on a voluntary basis by Mr W. Brewers and Mr F. Verstappen. The mill is open to the public every Wednesday and Saturday.
