The Architechture Centre of Amsterdam (ARCAM) moved to a new building near Centraal Station in 2003. ARCAM holds six exhibitions each year related to architects, new buildings, and urban developments in and around Amsterdam. ARCAM also organize tours and lectures related to architecture. The ARCAM building itself is a work of art. There is an information centre near the exhibition space, with books, magazines and maps available for tourists who prefer to explore Amsterdam’s architecture on their own.
